How to apply the Luscious Serum

IMPORTANT TIP: To ensure the serum will work its best, be sure your entire eyelid and brow area are clean by removing all makeup. Any oil based removers/moisturizers can leave a film which can create a barrier between your lashes and the serum. 

- Shake the bottle for even application of ingredients.
- For longer lashes , swipe a stroke of the brush along your upper eyelid margin at the base of the eyelashes from the outer eye towards the inner eye. Blot any excess solution beyond the lash line. Do not apply in your eye or to the lower lash line. The product will distrubute to your bottle lash line just by blinking ;)

- For fuller brows , draw short, hair-like strokes upward from the start of your brow to the tail. *If you have zero sensitivity to the product, you may use it morning and night 

 - Allow the formula 5 minutes to dry before applying makeup. Do not allow the tip of the bottle or applicator to come into contact with surrounding structures, fingers, or any other unintended surface to avoid contamination by common bacteria known to cause infections. 

- Contact lens wearers should be removed prior to application and may be reinserted after 15 minutes

I ordered this serum but I am a notorious lash picker and wasn’t getting good retention with my extensions. I’ve always been skeptical towards serums but after having lash extensions for a long time I wanted a break and to embrace my natural lash. That being said, this serum helped to get them at a length MORE than what I’ve ever had before! I use it once every morning after I let my moisturizer dry. If you follow the directions and are consistent then you should have no problem with seeing results as early as 3 weeks!

    How do I apply the serum?

    How does the serum work?

    How soon will I see results?

    Individual results may vary. Depending on the factors, of sex, age, and consistent application frequency. It may differ if you are taking medication that affects your hormones ie. birth control. Most individuals will typically start seeing results within 3-6 weeks

    How do I use the serum if I have sensitive eyes?

    - We recommend applying the serum every other day or every 3 days. (Results will be achieved still, but might take a few weeks longer compared to those who use daily). 
    - Apply the serum in the morning instead of at night. Ensure to wait 15 minutes before applying makeup or contact lenses after application of the serum. 
    -  Do not rub your eyes after application.
    -  Do not share the same bottle with other individuals to risk contamination.

    Can I wear makeup and mascara while using the serum?

    Yes! After you apply the serum, be sure to wait 5 minutes before applying makeup/mascara and wait 5 minutes before applying contact lenses.

    Can I use the serum if I have eyelash extensions?

    Yes! The serum is oil free and does not affect the bond of the glue used in eyelash extensions. It is known to eyelash technicians that there are many benefits to using the serum with eyelash extensions for multiple reasons. The formula in the serum adds benefical vitamins to the root of your eyelashes to help strengthen each hair follicle, preventing each eyelash from falling out prematurley. With the added length and thickness to your natural lashes, your eyelash technician can achieve a fuller look with thicker volume fans and longer lengths compared to what they were able to use due to the state of your natural lashes before you started using the serum. You can use the serum daily or every other day works just as well.

    My eyess/brows feel irritated/red from the product. What should I do?

    - Always make sure your eye and brow area are clean when using the serum to ensure it isn't mixing with any moisturizers or makeup removers that could be the cause of stinging or irritaion.  - If you feel discomfort, irritation, redness or itchyness, discontinue using the serum. If it persists over time, please consult your physcian. 
    Once symptoms resolve, you can try using the serum again, but try using only every other day or every 3 days to ensure the symptoms do not arise.

    How long does a tube of Luscious Serum last?

     If used daily and as recomemended, the bottle can last anywhere from 3-4 months. Once the tube has been open, the formula will remain active for 9 months. Each bottle has an expiry date at the bottom of the box.

    My eye area has some darkness/discoloration around where I use the product. What should I do?

    Discoloration on the eyelid happens to very few customers who have used The Luscious Eyelash & Eyebrow Growth Serum over a prolonged time period. If this is a concern to you, discontinue using the serum. The darkness will fade naturally after discontinuing use of the serum.

    Will my lashes and brow hairs fall oout if I stop using the product?

    No! Upon discontinuing using the serum, your eyelashes and eyebrows growth is expected to return to their regular length and growth rate.

    Is the product safe to use during pregnancy or breastfeeding?

    Using this in a small amount, to this specific area, would not affect pregnancy or breastfeeding. But there has been not enough true testing. Therefore it is recomended to avoid using the The Luscious Eyelash & Eyebrow Growth Serum and other eyelash serums during pregnancy or nursing.
